In a letter to Dr. James Lane, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jones said “it is my goal and responsibility to ensure that we are taking advantage of every opportunity to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.”
The letter goes on to ask for an academic review of the Danville school division to gain “a deeper objective analysis of our strengths and opportunities of growth.”
Jones’ letter says the division hopes to gain access to “additional focused and customized support.”
