(Danville, Va.) – A Danville convenience store was robbed Tuesday night by a man wearing a mask and wielding a knife.

Danville Police were called to the Kwik Shop located at 4912 Riverside Drive just after 9:35 p.m.in reference to a robbery.

An employee said a black male wearing a mask along with a light grey hoodie and sweat pants entered the store, pulled a knife and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot.

No one was injured in the incident. The robbery remains under investigation.
