(Halifax Co., Va.) – Thirteen drug arrests have been made in Halifax County.

The sheriff’s department began rounding up suspects last week, at the conclusion of a six-month undercover investigation by the Halifax/South Boston Regional Narcotics Task Force. The probe targeted street level dealers involved in illegal drug sales.

All of those arrested are from Halifax County. The charges involve the sale and distribution of cocaine, marijuana and controlled substances.

Virginia state troopers assisted in the investigation, along with members of the South Boston and Danville Police Departments.
