(South Boston, Va.) — South Boston Police have charged three men in a Wednesday shooting incident.
26-year-old Darshae Lee, 18-year-old Moses Hendren, and Tyjae Hendren, 18, were taken into custody over the weekend and charged with a shooting that happened on September 5.
The charges stem from a Wednesday afternoon shooting on McKinney Street in which an unnamed 20-year-South Boston man old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. When police arrived, they were told the gunshot victim, had arrived at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital with a gunshot wound. Police also say that a McKinney Street home had been struck by gunfire.
All three men have been charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Moses and Hendren were among five people charged with misdemeanor offenses for their alleged participation in a fight at the Halifax County High School graduation ceremony on May 26.
They are currently being held at the Halifax Adult Detention Center under no bond.
