(Pittsylvania County, Va.) — Pittsylvania County authorities are investigating after receiving reports that Ku Klux Klan literature is being distributed in the Chatham area.

The sheriff’s office issued a news release Monday, informing the public that KKK flyers and leaflets are being distributed in the area. The flyers were found on cars and near homes.

Authorities said they will continue to investigate any reported suspicious activity.
