(Pittsylvania County, Va.) – A Gretna woman won big in the Virginia Lottery’s Money Mania scratch-off game.
Debra Fuller tells lottery officials she walked into the Village Store on Highway 29 in Chatham and saw someone else buy a ticket that wasn’t a winner. She decided to try her luck at the same game and walked away with the top prize — $250,000.
She said she plans to use her new found wealth to pay bills and possibly travel.
Fuller is the sixth person to hit the jackpot, which means four more remain unclaimed.
$250,000 Money Mania is one of dozens of games available from the Virginia Lottery. It features prizes ranging from $20 to $250,000.
