(Danville, Va.) — This is day two of a double murder trial in Danville Circuit Court.

Tredarius Jameriquan Keene and Dashaun Lamar Trent are each charged with first-degree murder and firearms counts in the December 22, 2017 shooting death of 25-year-old Antwan Tucker, who was gunned down outside a party on Ross Street. More than two dozen spent shell casings were recovered at the scene.

A third defendant, K’Darius Taequan West, entered guilty pleas and sentenced in October to 27 years in prison.

Trent and Keene face separate indictments in a federal racketeering case involving street gangs in Danville.
