(Danville, Va.) – At the conclusion of a three-day trial, a Danville jury has convicted Tredarius Keene of involuntary manslaughter, use of a gun in a felony and two counts of maliciously shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Charges of attempted murder and attempted use of a firearm to commit a felony were dismissed.

The guilty verdicts came a day after a co-defendant, Dashaun Lamar Trent pleaded guilty to two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle in the December 22, 2017 shooting death of 25-year-old Antwan Duval Tucker, Jr. Both men had been charged with murder.

In October, K’Darius West was sentenced to 27 years in prison for his role in the fatal shooting on Ross Street.

Keene is scheduled to be sentenced June 27. The jury recommended a 24-year sentence.
