CASCADE, Va. – For the second time this year, a Pittsylvania County gun store has been broken into, but this time the thief left empty handed.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm at Guns, Gear and Ammo in Cascade early Sunday morning.

Surveillance cameras at the store show a man wearing a light colored hoodie using a grinder to remove the gate around the front door. He then grabs a bag from his car, jumps over a gate and kicks in the door. Fortunately, the guns were under lock and key and nothing was taken.

In February, two men entered the same gun shop by ramming the store with a box truck.
