REIDSVILLE, N.C. – The Rockingham County Sheriff Office reports that an elderly Reidsville man who went missing Wednesday evening has been located.

A Silver Alert had been issued for 87-year-old Vester Houston Pyrtle, who was last seen on Stone Street in Reidsville. Authorities had said that Pyrtle might be walking in the area.

The Sheriff’s office reports that the elderly man was located early Thursday morning.

No additional details were released.
