(Danville, VA) – Danville Police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting that took place during the early hours of Friday morning that left 30-year-old Keenan Cunningham dead.

Investigators have charged 29-year-old Antonio  T-Quan Terry of Danville with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  Police are not searching for any other suspects at this time.

Danville Police were called to the Hughes Street area just after 3:30 Friday morning for reports of shots fired and upon arrival they found Cunningham behind the wheel of a light-colored Chevrolet suburban.  He was pronounced dead at the scene of and apparent gunshot wound.

Cunningham’s body was transported to the medical examiner’s office in Roanoke for evaluation.  The investigation is ongoing.
