PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Pittsylvania County authorities have charged David Lee Robertson after a hidden camera was found in the ladies’ room at a marina on Smith Mountain Lake.

An employee of Lumpkins Marina found the camera in a bathroom stall and police were notified.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said the camera was linked to David Lee Robertson, who was a customer of the marina.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has charged Robertson with two misdemeanor counts of filming a non-consented nude person. Robertson was arrested last week at his Penhook home but has since been released on bond. He is due back in court on October 22.

If convicted, Robertson faces a sentence of up to 12 months in jail and a fine up to $2,500 on each count.
