DANVILLE, Va. – A grand jury has returned a murder indictment in the death of a Danville man. 29-year-old Antonio T-Quan Terry was arrested a day after the July 26 homicide and is now charged with first-degree murder.
Danville police officers responded to the 100 block of Hughes Street last month, where they found 30-year-old Keenan Cunningham in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.
Terry was arrested the following day and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Terry was indicted on a murder charge on Tuesday, August 27. He is charged additionally with use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and five counts of maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle.
Terry was served with the indictments and he is being held without bond in the Martinsville City Jail.
