DANVILLE, Va. – It’s been two years since a Danville businessman was gunned down inside the convenience store he ran on Riverside Drive.
Now, the FBI is offering a $7,500 reward for information leading to his murderer.
Danville Police responded to a call from the Joy Food Mart in the 500 block of Riverside Drive on September 12, 2017. On arrival, officers found Tahir Mahmud dead and determined the store had been robbed.
A man was spotted running from the store immediately after the shooting. The suspect is described as a slender black male who was wearing “unique” jeans.
