WENTWORTH, N.C. – The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office has located a fugitive sought for abduction and felonious assault.

40-year-old Roger Dale Pruitt, Jr. was arrested on multiple charges including assault on a female, strangulation and second-degree kidnapping.

Pruitt was located in the Reidsville area and was taken into custody without incident after a brief search.

Pruitt is being held in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under a $5000 secure bond.
