DANVILLE, Va. 39-year-old Bobby Collins died Friday evening after crashing his motorcycle.

According to Danville Police, witnesses say they spotted a motorcycle and a Chevy Camaro traveling north on Piney Forest Road at a high rate of speed.

The bike hit a curb and Collins was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to Sovah Health Danville, where Collins was pronounced dead.

The crash happened at about 7 p.m. Friday on North Main Street near the Squire Armory.
