DANVILLE, Va. – Fire damaged a home at 616 Bradley Road Wednesday morning.

Engines were dispatched just before 10 a.m. and firefighters found smoke showing from the rear of the small, single-story home.

Crews confined the flames to the kitchen and determined the fire was caused by unattended cooking.

No one was home at the time and there were no injuries.

The kitchen suffered significant damage and heat and smoke damage was reported throughout the home.
