DANVILLE, Va. – An early morning fire destroyed a home in North Danville.

Crews responded to a structure fire at 129 Campbell St at 3:56 Saturday morning. The two-story home was heavily involved in fire when the first units reached the scene. At the time of arrival everyone was out of the building.

Crews also had the two homes on either side that were exposed to heavy fire.

A ladder truck and multiple hoses were used to bring the flames under control.

The house was damaged heavily and both surrounding structures suffered minor fire damage.

Crews were on the scene four-and-a-half hours. The cause is under investigation by the fire marshal’s office.

There were no injuries.
