REIDSVILLE, N.C. – Just days after returning to the classroom, students at four schools in Rockingham County, North Carolina are returning to virtual learning.

The four Rockingham County Schools dealing with closures due to coronavirus are: Reidsville Middle, Western Rockingham Middle, Holmes Middle Schools and a single classroom at Rockingham County Middle School. The schools will remain closed for two weeks.

The decision to suspend classroom education comes just days after students returned to the schools under Plan B of Gov. Roy Cooper’s reopening initiative.

The school districts say that all affected students have been notified of the scheduling change.

The Rockingham County school superintendent  reminded parents to keep their children home if they suspect they have been exposed to the virus.
