DANVILLE, Va. – 750 Danville Utilities customers were still without power at noon Friday. These outages are scattered throughout the city and our county territory.
All service should be restored Friday evening.
At the height of the storm Thursday, more than 23,000 customers lost service.
At mid-day Friday, the following streets remained at least partially blocked due to fallen trees entangled with power lines:
· Hanley Circle
· Hopkins Street
· Lorillard Drive
· Miller Road
· Norwood Drive
· Old Farm Road at Oak Lane
· West James Street
