PITTSYLVANIA, Va. – There were no injuries but a family of five lost their home in a fire in the northern end of Pittsylvania County.

The Hurt Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire in the 1100 block of Moons Road at 5:25 a.m. on Saturday. The first units to arrive found a home on fire in addition to a trailer and several vehicles.

Multiple agencies responded from Pittsylvania County, including the Hurt, Renan, Gretna, Riceville-Java, Chatham and Altavista Volunteer Fire Departments.

There were no injuries in the fire.
