DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Police are investigating a single-vehicle wreck that happened on River Street shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole. One person was ejected from the car and was taken to the hospital by the Danville Lifesaving Crew. A condition report was not immediately available.

The wreck happened about 10:15 p.m. near Hardy Petroleum.
