FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – A Franklin County grand jury has returned a host of indictments against four men in a double shooting that left one brother dead and another seriously wounded.
On July 14, sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Salthouse Branch Road, where they found Justin Prillaman, 20, dead and 18-year-old James Prillaman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
During the course of the investigation, authorities arrested six people: Te’Sean Brooks, Qu’Shawn Manns, Treavon Taylor, Austin Lane, Sean Schwallenburg and Leon Mitchell.
On Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Manns, Brooks, Schwallenburg and Mitchell on a total of 52 charges including first-degree murder, malicious wounding, burglary, robbery and multiple firearms offenses.
