LOUISA COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police have canceled the AMBER Alert for Killian Briers, the infant who was abducted from Louisa County over the weekend.
State Police say the child has been safely located and the abductor is in custody. The alert was on behalf of the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office in the search for a 7-month-old boy, who was last seen on Sunday in Louisa County.
Investigators say Killian Briers was found unharmed Wednesday morning. They believe he was kidnapped on January 10 by Lauren Lloyd, who was traveling with the child in a 2008 white Honda Accord with Virginia license plate UJY-6994.
There’s no word on where Lloyd was located at the time of her arrest or of any possible connection to the child.
