DANVILLE, Va. – Despite the cold, a long line formed outside PATHS in Danville Saturday as clients waited for the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Piedmont Access to Health Services, Inc. (PATHS) established a waiting list for the clinic and is administering the vaccine to established patients who have been seen within the last three years.
Locations in Danville and Chatham are holding the vaccine clinics on Saturday, January 30. South Boston and Boydton locations will give vaccinations on Saturday, Feb. 13.
These clinics are full and it is unknown when the next shipment of vaccines will arrive, but patients can email patients@pathsinc.org to get on the waitlist.
Four of PATHS five locations have received 200 vaccines each to be administered following the recommendations of the Virginia Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
As more vaccines are distributed to each PATHS location, additional clinics will be scheduled.
