DANVILLE, Va. – A vehicle left the road and crashed into a business on the Piney Forest Road Wednesday night, doing a significant amount of damage to the building.

Danville police, fire and rescue units responded at 8:27pm to the 1100 block Piney Forest, where they found a beige SUV covered in brick after the driver lost control and struck the entrance to the Education Plus Store.

There were no injuries and the accident remains under investigation.

Firefighters from three stations were the first on the scene.
