UPDATE: Danville Police Investigators located Angel Marie Ransom safe in the company of a known acquaintance.

DANVILLE, Va. – Danville authorities are searching for a woman who was last seen near the emergency room of Sovah Health Hospital Thursday afternoon.

Danville Police say 36-year-old Angel Marie Ransom was last seen wearing dark gray sweat pants, a gray sweat shirt, black shoes with white bottoms, and a yellow bib.

Ransom was spotted around Sovah’s ER at around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police are concerned for her welfare and say Ransom has a physical disability and mental health issues.
