AXTON, Va. – A Silver Alert has been issued for a Henry County woman who was last seen Monday evening on Old Liberty Drive in Axton.

Virginia State Police say 63-year-old Catherine Vernon Stone may be driving a silver 2011 Chevy Impala with Virginia tags “VNX-8534.”

Stone is a white female standing 5’ 5” and weighing 170 pounds. She has brown/blonde hair and brown eyes.

Say she may be driving to Leesburg, Virginia.

State Police say Stone suffers from cognitive impairment and her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.
