(Henry County, Va) The Virginia State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle who was involved in a crash back on May 23rd.
The crash that happened on AL Philpott Highway just after 3 pm in Axton involved an unmarked Henry County Sherriff’s 2015 Ford Taurus. The vehicle driven by investigator T.W. Farmer was traveling westbound when the unidentified vehicle made a sudden lane change. The taurus wound up running off the side of the road to avoid the other vehicle and wound up striking several signs before striking an embankment.
The vehicle in question which did not make contact with the investigator’s vehicle, according to witness statements has been described as a silver Ford F-150 pickup.
Farmer who was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital is still recovering from the serious injuries he sustained in the crash. He was not using any of his emergency equipment at the time of the crash and was wearing his seatbelt.
An investigation is ongoing and if anyone has any information on the F-150 or the incident in question is asked to reach out to the state police at 540-375-9500.
