Pittsylvania County, Va. – 86-year-old James C. March died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle collision in the 4100 block of Mount Cross Road.

According to Virginia State Police, March was driving a Buick LaSabre when he pulled into the path of a southbound Dodge Ram truck. March was pulling from private drive to private drive when the Dodge Ram struck the passenger side of the Buick. Both vehicles then ran off the road.

March was transported to Sovah-Health Danville, where he later died. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, Joshua R. Cross, 29, of Reidsville, N.C., was uninjured in the crash. He was also wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
