BOONES MILL, Va. – A woman who was reportedly abducted from a Subway in Boones Mill Monday afternoon has been located in another jurisdiction.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says the female and male in this case have been located and are safe.

Authorities say no charges have been filed at this time and that the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reported earlier that Cassandra Joy Smith, 33, of Bedford, was possibly abducted around 4:45 p.m. by a man driving a dark color Dodge Dart with Virginia plates.
