BASSETT, Va. – A Henry County school was placed under lockdown Tuesday after receiving a call that concerned staff members.
Campbell Court Elementary School went on lockdown Tuesday morning after receiving a call believed to be from a teacher’s spouse.
The call came into Campbell Court Elementary School around 10:38 a.m. and students and teachers were placed in lockdown as a precaution.
34-year-old Brock Addison Stanley of Bassett is accused of making the call. He faces three counts of violating a protective order after calling into the school.
Stanley was taken to the Henry County Jail where he is being held without bond.
