(Danville, VA) – An investigation is ongoing into an incident that left to Danville teenagers with gunshot wounds Saturday night.  The incidents happened just before midnight in the 2900 block of West Main Street.

A 19-year-old male was located in the parking lot of an apartment complex while an 18-year-old male was located on the lot of a nearby closed store.  Investigators worked to establish a timeline based on the statements of the victims whose relationship at that time was unknown and if the two shootings were related and where exactly they occurred.

The Danville police department has confirmed the shooting happened at a residence and continued near the intersection of West Main Street and Old Mayfield Road.

The 18-year-old victim was treated for a minor wound and immediately released.  The 19-year-old is still receiving medical treatment and stable.  This is a very active and ongoing investigation.  IF you recognize the vehicle or the suspects Danville Police request you do not approach as the subjects are to be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators are seeking the public’s input in identifying the suspects and their vehicle as seen in the photo above.   Anyone who recognizes the suspect vehicle, knows the whereabouts or identities of the vehicle or suspects, was a witness to any of this incident, or has obtained any information on the shooting incident is please asked to contact the Danville Police Department or Crimestoppers.  Information that leads to arrests and convictions in this investigation will be eligible for a cash reward.
