SOUTH BOSTON, Va. – Police have cleared a Campbell County bank robbery with the arrest of a South Boston man.

26-year-old Ryan McKinney was arrested after authorities raided his home Tuesday and found evidence linking him to the October robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank on Timberlake Road. Campbell County investigators believe McKinney was the man who entered the bank and demanded money from the clerks. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

McKinney is charged with suspicion of robbery.

He is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional jail in Halifax.
