DANVILLE, Va. – A shooting and robbery in Danville has been cleared with the arrest of a 19-year-old.

The robber fled on foot and the victim was able to drive himself to the hospital, where he was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
West was developed as a suspect and was tracked to a home on Chatelaine Avenue. Police surrounded the house and West was taken into custody at 7 p.m. without further incident.
