Morse was convicted of the crimes on December 1 at the conclusion of his three-day trial in Henry County Circuit Court. On May 13th of 2020, Morse called police to report that he arrived at his wife’s home on Wingfield Orchard Road to find Pamela Morse dead of a gunshot wound to her head.

A 2010 Jeep Compass was taken from the residence but was recovered that night. Shortly thereafter, authorities charged David Morse, Casey Rogers, Tanna Fitzgerald, and Collin Russell with conspiracy to commit murder.
