PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – The 15-year-old Cascade boy who went missing from his home Monday afternoon has been found dead.

A news release from the Pittslyvania County Sheriff’s Office said “at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, search parties located a deceased body that has been identified as Adrian Frank Mayberry. The location of the discovery was off Cascade Road in the Axton community in Pittsylvania County.”

The body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke to determine the cause and manner of death.

The news release thanked the public for their assistance in the search and recovery.
