A Danville-based disaster relief organization known as ‘God’s Pit Crew’ is sending supplies to victims of tornadoes and wildfires in Texas. On Friday, they send out a tractor trailer loaded with food, personal hygiene items, first aid supplies, a Bible, Gatorade, work gloves and wipes. The items will be handed out to survivors in Jacksboro, Texas after an EF-3 tornado roared through that part of the country one week ago… on March 21. The supplies will also benefit firefighters and wildfire victims in Texas. The local group is also working on plans to help others too… including the tornado victims in New Orleans and Ukrainian refugees. In the Ukrainian effort, their partners will deliver the buckets to Poland.
