Gas prices across Virginia are continuing to slowly decrease after reaching record highs last month. According to Triple-A Mid-Atlantic Pittsylvania County’s average for a gallon of regular is $3.73 and in Danville it’s $3.77. The club reports Allegheny County has the lowest price at $3,71. Virginia’s average price is $3.98 a gallon. That’s about a dollar-and-a-quarter per gallon more than this time last year.
