A standoff on Friday at a Danville apartment ends after 7 hours with the suspect taken into custody. Police say they received a shots fired call at the Piney Forest Road complex and when they arrivd two women had escaped from the unit. Police rescued a 3-month-old child while the suspect was barricaded in a bathroom. After being apprehended the suspect was taken for a mental health evaluation before being charged.
