A grant of over $200,000 is awarded to a Danville organization to help area residents get healthier. According to the Register and Bee the grant from Public Health Americorps given to the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research will support 15 AmeriCorps members to meet public health needs and help rebuild the public health sector. The grant is one of 5 awarded in Virginia.
