Our Citizen of the Month for April is Ginny Walker. And with Ginny we are combining three different letters of nomination to share her story.

Ginny is an Angel on earth. There is not a fundraiser in the area of which she is not a part. She spends countless hours a week providing for the needs of the elderly, underprivileged, and those suffering from any type of illness or sickness. She collects coats for kids…makes gift baskets for nursing home residents. This while dealing with her own family issues, but that doesn’t stop Ginny Walker.

Ginny is the most selfless person I know. Her heart is so big, and love for others so strong , you can feel it just being near her. She always has a pound cake on hand ready to brighten someone’s day with a smile on her face and that “Hey Friend” welcome!

This would be a better place if it had more Ginny Walkers in it. She never stops being the hands and feet of Jesus. She absolutely deserves some recognition.
