Businesses operating so-called “games of skill” who are not covered under a Virginia injuction banning the machines are getting warning letters from Danville Police. According to the Register & Bee the hand-delivered letters say continuing to operate the machines subjects the business to criminal and civil penalties. Police say the law also applies to customers who are playing the games and there is no grace period before enforcement will begin.
