The slate is set for the November 8 general election now that the candidate filing deadline has passed. According to the Register & Bee Danville Mayor Alonzo Jones, Vice Mayor Gary Miller and Danville City Councilmen James Buckner and Bryant Hood are all running for re-election. 3 seats are up for grabs on the Danville School Board, along with a special election to complete the term of Renee Hughes who resigned in November 2021.
