A shooting occurred Sunday evening in Danville on Memorial Drive between North Ridge Street and Poplar Street. Police say a man was leaving a convenience store when he was shot in the leg. The man was hospitalized and his condition is unknown. According to investigators the shooter ran away heading west on Memorial Drive.
