A series of meetings begins today by the Health Collaborative on the Health Equity Report released earlier this year. According to the Register & Bee the report showed poor health statistics in the Dan River Region with racial disparities playing a role. The meetings are today from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church’s Fellowship Hall in Danville, the Pittsylvania County Schools office in Chatham and at the Caswell County Senior Center on Firetower Road in Yanceyville.
