Danville Public works will be closing a portion of Memorial Drive Tuesday. Crews will be working to remove trees that could have an impact along transmission lines.  The outside lane of Northbound Memorial Drive from West Main Street to the new police headquarters entrance will be closed.  On the southbound side the outside lane will only be closed in the West Main Street intersection.  Drivers are advised to be mindful of traffic patterns changing as well as crew members walking along the street in these areas.
