The Virginia Department of Transportation has named Lindsey Hodges to the role of resident engineer for Halifax and Pittsylvania Counties. Her role oversees road maintenance and operations, land development, budgeting, and business operations. According to the Gazette Virginian the posting was made official on September 10th. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree with a civil engineering specialty, Hodges worked both in the private sector and through various roles within VDOT spanning 12 years with the most recent posting being area construction engineer for the Lynchburg District.
