Danville Community College is hosting two Industrial Maintenance Training Information Sessions and Open Houses on Thursday. The training session is a part of DCC providing short term training that will help create more employment opportunities in the region.

Those in attendance will hear from DCC staff about some of the courses that will be offered and industry leaders will be in attendance to discuss employment opportunities for those who complete the training. Trainees who complete the training will receive National Center for Construction Education and Research certifications in Electrical Electronics, Industrial Maintenance Electrical and Instrumentation, and Industrial Maintenance and Mechanics.

The training sessions will be held at the Regional Center for Advanced Technology and Training. The morning session will take place from 9 to 12 and the afternoon session will be from to 7.
