The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory and Flood Watch for the southside beginning on Friday morning as the remnants of Hurricane Ian move into the area. The Wind Advisory go into affect at 10 this morning and will last until Saturday at noon.

The Wind Advisory warns that the area will experience 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts ranging from 40 to 50 mph. The Flood Watch will begin this afternoon at 2 and will last until Saturday at 2 pm.

The storm is expected to drop two to four inches of rain across the area, with as much as six inches in some areas.
